BOHO Throw/Lap Quilt

The Boho Quilt is a bold and vibrant patchwork quilt made with fabrics from the Kaffe Fassett Collective by Free Spirit Designs. The design is built from a variety of warm colorway fabrics cut in vertical strips to create squares of hot pinks, oranges, reds and pops of aqua drawing the eye along the top.

The quilting is done by Kay Allison using a free motion technique to add decorative texture throughout, helping the busy and exciting colorwork feel dynamic rather than flat. The quilt is finished with a rich, coordinating maroon border that frames the patchwork and pulls the overall palette together. The back is a purple color, that blends seamlessly with the front.
