PRODUCT QUESTIONS

(1) How are the quilts, bags and apparel made?  Every single quilted item, travel bag, and tote bags  are made by one of the "Quilting Queens" on their domestic sewing machine. Because these are crafted at home and not mass-produced in a factory, each piece features unique, high-quality attention to detail that you cannot find in  standard retail stores.

(2) What makes the bags special? Our gear  is designed for maximum functionality. We feature expandable travel bags that adjust to give you extra packing room when needed and matching protective shoe bags to keep your footwear separated from the clean clothes. Travel bags and boxy bags can be used for traveling or for your own bathroom area.

(3)  What is the difference in a sewn item and a quilted item?  Quilted items have a top layer, batting inside and a backing layer stitched together. Sewn items are made from a single layer or multiple flat layers without the middle backing.

(4) What kinds of fabrics do you use for the quilted items?  Fabrics used are 100% cotton and are quilt-shop quality. If another material is used, it will be noted in the description.

(5) Can I use the quilts every day or are they for display? Our quilts will hold up for everyday use and can be washed.  Our Art Quilts will need to be spot cleaned with water and a soft soap.

(6) Are your restyled denim jackets pre-owned or thrifted?  NO!  All of our restyled jackets are purchased new from the Los Angeles Fashion District or from a small family-owned manufacturer in North Carolina.  We then transform them by adding our own custom fabric panels and unique embellishments to give you a one-of-a-kind fashion piece that is completely clean and fresh.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

(7) How do I wash and dry my quilt? Wash the quilt in cold water on a gentle cycle. Tumble low in the dryer.  If it features  bright colors, you might wish to use a SHOUT Color Catcher. For other items such as the collegiate appliqued shirts or restyled denim jackets/coats, we do recommend washing in cold water on a gentle cycle OR spot cleaning. Use a very low heat-setting on the dryer when drying.

(8) Will the applique on my Ole Miss or State shirt fray? We securely stitch every design on an embroidery machine to ensure the fabric remains firmly attached wash after wash.

(9) How long does shipping take?  If pre-made items are ordered, we can ship within 2-3 days. Custom orders take longer, from 3-6 weeks. Each order is different, depending on the amount of time to complete the order.

(10) What is your return policy? We really want you to love your purchase! Because our items are uniquely handmade, restyled or custom items, all sales are final and we do not accept returns or exchanges. All sizes and measurement are stated distinctly in the description. However, your satisfaction  is incredibly important to us. If your item arrives damaged or has a structural defect upon delivery, please contact us within 3 days of receiving your package with a photo of the issue. We will gladly work with you to make it right by repairing or replacing the damaged item.

(10) Are your Mississippi State (MSU) and Ole Miss items officially licensed? Our sweatshirts and t-shirts feature our own original designs that are independently designed, cut, and appliqued on the front of the shirt.

(11) May I send my own t-shirts to make a custom t-shirt quilt?   YES! We love creating memories from your quilts. Please contact us if needed with the type of t-shirt quilt that you would like. 

(12) Do you accept custom orders for specific sizes and colors of quilts?   YES! We do love to bring your vision to life using a specific fabric line or pattern. Please email us so that we can talk!
