the Little Explorer Quilt

This quilt, "the Little Explorer" is  such a sweet baby quilt made in a traditional patchwork style, featuring a colorful grid of 8" square blocks. The blocks use soft, varied fabrics in bright pinks, greens, oranges, purples and pattered prints with plain textured squares mixed in for contrast and warmth. At the center, three appliques bring the theme to life: a friendly lion, a palm tree and a cute little giraffe - each stitched as a playful focal point that fits the explorer/adventure vibe of the quilt's name. A coordinating border of black-and-white stripes frames the design and finishes the quilt with a fun, jungle-inspired look.
